TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TRADE
PERFECT REG LTD
GENERAL TERMS
1.0 DEFINITIONS:
The following definitions and rules of interpretation apply in these terms.
1.1 Definitions
VAT: Value Added Tax (at the current rate).
DVLA: Driving and Vehicle Licensing Agency.
SALE: The exchange of a commodity of money.
2.0 OUR DETAILS:
2.1 Perfect Reg Ltd is a limited company. Our company VAT registered number is 120448939. Our registered address is 7 Wychwood Close, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 6TE.
3.0 OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU AND YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL:
3.1 We will always confirm all sales by writing. An email confirmation is always sent immediately accompanied with a VAT invoice. This email comfirmation is sent when a number plate sale has occured. We also post a confirmation of sale letter to the address you provide us with. This is sent to the new purchaser of a registration or a client we are selling the registration for.
3.2 If we take instructions over the phone we will always send a confirmation email.
3.3 When we have been given instructions over the telephone or in person, our agreement with you will take affect at the end of our telephone call or face to face meeting.
3.4 Once we have agreed or completed a purchase of a Registration Mark, you shall not be entitled to terminate the contract or riscind our contract of sale and request a refund of any fees which you have paid or are liable to pay us.
3.5 You will lose your right to cancel the contract for services if the service has been fully performed within the 14 day period at your request and you anknowledge that you would lose your right to cancel once the contract has been completed.
3.6 To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us, Perfect Reg Ltd, of your decision to cancel this agreement by a clear statement. This can be sent via email to sales@perfectreg.co.uk or a letter sent by post to 7 Wychwood Close, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 6TE. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
3.7 If you cancel this agreement, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this agreement.
3.8 We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
4.0 REGISTRATION NUMBER
4.1 A vehicle registration mark is neither a good or a service but a unique identifying mark, registered with the Dvla which maybe displayed on a motor vehicle in the United Kingdom. Owners or purchasers of a registration have the rights to use, hold or transfer a Registration Mark.
4.2 If you buy a registration mark we agree only to transfer to you.
5.0 BUYING A REGISTRATION
5.1 All registration marks which are Perfect Reg Ltd stock are priced with additional VAT and the £80 assignment fee.
5.2 We undertake the entire transfer process for you. Ideally we prefer to transfer the registration straight to your vehicle. Alternatively, we can supply the registration on a v750 or v778 retention certificate which will have an expiry of 2025. Some registrations have expiry dates of 2026/27/28 & 2029. Please contact us and we can inform you of the expiry date of the registration you are interested in.
5.3 Perfect Reg Ltd cannot transfer the registration onto your vehicle or supply the mark on a retention certificate until full payment has been made.
5.4 It is illegal to display the new registration mark before the transfer is completed by The Department of Transport.
5.5 The issue of a new v5 registration document bearing the new registration number shall be conclusive proof that a successful transfer has taken place. With instant online transfers we will provide the eV948 Number plate authorisation certificate issued by the Dvla.
5.6 You can use your eV948 certificate to get your number plates made.
5.7 It is the buyers responsibility to get the number plates made from an authorised number plate supplier. We do not sell or supply the actual acrylic plates. It is illegal to mis-represent or mis-space the registration number. The DVLA can revoke your registration if you mis-represent the number.
5.8 Although you can purchase a registration that is newer than your vehicle, you cannot display a number plate on a vehicle that makes that same vehicle appear newer.
5.9 All registration marks are sold subject to availability and although we check out the availability of every registration mark before selling, we cannot accept any responsibility should the registration become unavailable or if an individual owner decides not to sell their number. We will sell a registration until we know it is 100% available. In the rare circumstance that a sale falls through we will try and find a suitable replacement registration mark or refund the purchaser in full if payment has been made.
5.10 Prices can be subject to change without prior notice.
5.11 We accept payments from all major credit and debit cards. Please note there is a 2% credit/debit card charge.
6.0 SELLING YOUR REGISTRATION
6.1 If you ask to sell your registration number we will not charge a fee for selling your registration mark. We will bear the cost for all advertising and marketing of the plate, thus no cost to the seller.
6.2 We pay sellers as soon as we have confirmation that the number plate transfer has been completed.
6.3 We request that all sellers must notify us by telephone, email or in writing if a registration has been sold or withdrawn from sale. This enables us to advertise registrations that are currently available.
7.0 TRANSFERRING YOUR REGISTRATION
7.1 We will request the seller sends and signs us all the necessary documents in order to undertake the transfer onto our clients vehicle. If the registration is on a vehicle, we will request the current v5 vehicle registration document, the current MOT certificate (if applicable) and a signed v317 transfer document by the owner of the vehicle. If the mark is not on a vehicle we will request the current v750 / v778 retention certificate signed and dated by the purchaser.
8.0 It is legal to use, distribute or publish any of the photos or videos from this website. We hold the copyright to all our photos and videos used on this website. We will take the necessary legal action required if our photos or videos are used to promote any individuals, companies or websites.
